Our Vision on Missions
The Missions ministry of The Church at South Mountain (CASM), following the model in Scripture, puts the church at the center of missionary activity and as the sending agent (Acts 13:1-3). This is first and foremost a ministry of the Church. With that in mind, the Missions ministry will function as a part of the overall philosophy and direction of the church. The major objectives of the Missions ministry are:

Phase 1
1. Empowering – Directors: Earl & Renee Shivers
This team's goal is to determine the specific needs (ministry and personal needs) of the missionaries that we support in Mexico and Cameroon and, through the congregation, meet those needs as we are able.
2. Education – Director: Andy Lack
The goal of this team is to produce a newsletter that educates CASM about key missionaries and missions and to stimulate awareness and participation through prayer and giving.
3. Evangelism – Director: Mark Ruggles
The goal of this team is to reach out to people who have had some previous contact with CASM.
