Planting Hope Campus Advance
We have secured 3.3 acres of land on 7th Avenue just north of Broadway Road, to begin the building process of the Place of Grace. Our vision for this Advance directly reflects the vision that we have as a church. Our future community will provide us with even more opportunities to live out that which God has called us to through His vision for the church. Our vision is set on people, and as such, this advance will enable us to reach people in several ways:
Evangelism ... Planting Hope
Evangelism involves spreading God's Word to a lost world and committing ourselves to the lives of the people in the community, by establishing relationships, and building a trust with the people we seek to reach. In a world that has no hope, our desire is to see the Gospel of God's grace planted into the lives of people as their only source of hope.
Education ... Sowing Truth
We are seeking to establish a place where pastors and lay people can grow in their theological understanding of God's Word, through clear, biblical teaching and resources. We also desire to provide educational opportunities for children, youth, and adults within the South Phoenix community.
Encouraging and Edifying ... Reaping Life
The Place of Grace will seek to establish an environment where people of different ages, backgrounds, and upbringings will have the opportunity to hear God's Word and grow within an established community.
Equipping ... Growing People
As we rely on God's Word to teach us, we also rely on His Word to establish us and prepare us for everyday life. Our desire is to see God's Word lived out in the lives of the people we reach.
Planting Hope Phases
The goal of the Planting Hope Advance is to raise the funding necessary for the construction of our new campus. The Advance will proceed in two phases.
Phase I
Phase I will begin with the construction of our sanctuary, the total cost for Phase I is $1.3 million.
With our people giving sacrificially, we have already raised close to $400,000. Our financing is in place and we are ready to commence construction.
Phase II
Phase II will conclude the construction with a three story educational building including 20 classrooms, a bookstore, a gymnasium and administrative offices. As we come closer to our goal for Phase I, we will expand the details of Phase II.
